Although the Portapad is covered by a standard warranty against manufacturing errors, there is a potential risk that you may end up damaging it yourself. Inflatable objects can be punctured by playing children, cats or dogs, or stray sharp objects. It is extremely rare that it happens, but in the case that it should, this insurance gives you the right to a replacement.
If at any point, you should damage your Portapad, you merely have to fill in a basic form (found here) and send it to us. A replacement will be sent you for free.
If you want this optional protection against damage, then merely tick the box

Our shipping partner's automated system takes a phone number as one of the standard variables and prints it on your shipping label in case there should be a problem with the delivery. When a phone number is not supplied, our shipping partner creates a bogus one just to have something to write on the sticker. It's a little silly, but that's how they choose to do it.
We essentially don't need your phone number for any other purpose than this. And if you don't want to provide the phone number, you will receive a shipment with such a bogus phone number printed on your address slip. That's all.
Sincerely,
Eivind & Staale,
The Portapad team
